Note: The applicable tax factor provided includes GST and PST/HST. Sales analysis has shown a small number of PST/HST taxable items are sold at a Book Fair. We have calculated the average PST/HST portion of your Book Fair sales and included it with the GST in the factor provided.
If your school requires complete details regarding the tax factors provided, contact your Book Fair Consultant. Scholastic Book Fairs will remit the taxes to the appropriate governmental agencies on your school’s behalf. (Scholastic Book Fairs: GST# 887513091 RT)
Applicable Bonus(es)
Special Month Bonus* automatically applies to schools holding a Book Fair in a specific time frame.
Second Fair Bonus* applies to your second or third Scholastic Book Fairs held during the same school year.
Book Fairs must be of the same type and language. *Bonuses are limited to books only and are to be chosen from current Book Fair selection.
Bonuses do not apply to any Discount Fair type.
Promotional Allowances
Up to $60 in FREE product* is allowable for promotional purposes.
An additional $50 in FREE books* for Family Event Door Prize Draw is also allowable (see Highlights flyer for details). Product to be chosen from your current Book Fair selection.
Catalogue Orders
If your product commission is not taken entirely from your Book Fair selection or Reorder List, a Commission Credit Statement will be issued to cover outstanding credit. (Does not include bonus product or Promotional Allowances.)
